FINDING YOUR NEXT FAVORITE SHORT JUST GOT MORE PERSONAL
Finding a Short you enjoy should lead to more worth watching. Voicer's discovery work now uses recent activity to help shape the order of Shorts and videos shown to signed-in members. Recency still matters: fresh uploads have a chance to be seen, while the feed also looks for topics that connect with what you have chosen to watch, like, or save.
Interests are more than one click
A saved video can say more about your interests than a passing view. Categories and hashtags give useful context, too. The recommendation system combines those signals with a little rotation, so the selection can feel relevant without becoming a loop of the same few clips. It also takes care not to serve an item simply because you already watched it.
That approach carries into the Shorts gallery and the regular video gallery. Open a video and continue to the next one: related topics in its category, hashtags, title, and description help guide the following choices. When you swipe through Shorts, there is room to keep going instead of stopping after a small fixed row.
Keep discovering
No set of signals can know everything you might enjoy. That is why a useful feed also needs variety. A fresh voice, a new hobby, or a story from another community might be your next favorite. Explore Voicer Shorts, save what speaks to you, and share your own perspective. If you want to make a clip of your own, start with our short video storytelling ideas.
